The 209's teacher-realtor

Homeownership is possible. Let me show you how.

I am Shapree Carrie, a former middle school teacher and Realtor® serving Stockton and the 209. I explain every step until it makes sense, so you never have to figure it out alone.

Shapree Carrie, Realtor® with LPT Realty

I have been on both sides of the desk.

I bought my first home as a teacher. Nobody handed me a guide, so I found the resources and taught myself the process one step at a time.

I was them. Now I do the heavy lifting so my clients do not have to.

Six years later, I still work like a teacher. I meet people where they are, break the process into small pieces, and explain until it clicks. I work solo, so you will always hear from me, not a team member you have never met.

If I would not want my family to live there, I would not sell it to you. It is not about a check.

Buying a home, one lesson at a time

You will never be rushed and never be pressured. Here is how we will work together, from our first sit-down to your keys.

  1. Our sit-down

Before we tour a single home, we meet and talk through the whole process, your budget, and your goals. You leave with a checklist to follow. This is also where we sign the Buyer Broker Agreement, which is simply our written agreement to work together. I will walk you through every line.

  2. Get pre-approved

A lender reviews your finances and tells you what you can borrow. This comes before house hunting, not after. I can connect you with lenders who understand teacher and first responder pay.

  3. Tour homes that fit your payment

We focus on the monthly payment, not just the price tag. I will point out what the photos do not show, good and bad.

  4. Write your offer

We go through every term together before you sign anything. If something does not make sense, we stop and talk it through.

  5. Escrow, with weekly check-ins

Escrow is the stretch between an accepted offer and closing, when a neutral third party holds the funds and paperwork. You hear from me every week and at every milestone.

  6. Closing day

You sign, you get your keys, and we celebrate. 🔑

Selling? Let's get you to your next chapter.

My goal is to get you successfully to your next home, with honest numbers and no surprises along the way.

Pricing backed by real comps

Strong but realistic pricing, based on what similar homes have actually sold for, so your home sells well without sitting.

Prepare before we list

Repairs, decluttering, and staging advice happen before photos, not after. I will give you a clear to-do list.

Full-service marketing

Professional photos, video and TikTok tours, Facebook promotion, open houses, and more.

Honest feedback

I share what buyers really say about your home, then we make a plan to address it.

Weekly updates

You will always know where things stand, with weekly updates and frequent check-ins.

What you will walk away with

When offers come in, I send the terms fast, give you my honest opinion, and show your estimated net. The decision is always yours.

Ask what your home is worth

Keys for Community Heroes

You serve our community. Let me give some back.

Eligible community professionals can receive up to 20% of my commission back at closing.

Who qualifies

  • Teachers
  • Nurses
  • Firefighters
  • Police officers
  • Veterans

How you can use it

  • Closing costs. Bring less cash to the table.
  • Home decor. Make the new place feel like yours.
  • Savings. Start your home cushion on day one.
Ask if you qualify

Rebate is subject to lender approval. Not every loan program allows a credit at closing, and I will check with your lender before we write an offer.

Estimate your rebate

This is an example based on a 2.5% commission rate. Move the slider or change the rate to see how it works. Real numbers depend on your transaction.

%
Example: up to $2,250 back at closing

This is an example only, not a promise. Your actual commission, rebate, and how it can be applied depend on your purchase and lender approval.

Where I work

I live and work in the 209, and I know these neighborhoods street by street.
